A faith-based organization is returning to Buffalo to help residents of the Lovejoy District this summer.
Eight Days of Hope will have an eight-day outreach event for free home repairs from July 15-22.
More than 1,300 volunteers will help 100 families with projects including painting, porch replacements, roofing and more.
"We work all over the country," said Steve Tybor, president and CEO for Eight Days of Hope. "We've responded now to 75 different disasters, $72 million of work, and 9,000 families have had their homes rebuilt because Eight Days of Hope has shown up. I'm telling you though, we have not found a better place to work than Buffalo, New York."
