The Buffalo Public School Board has approved a new four-year plan.
In it, there's a call for additional "right-sizing" to maintain fund balances.
The school board said it will run out of money in the next four years without structured deficits totaling more than $200 million. That includes an $83 million deficit for the upcoming school year.
The school district also expects to cut 180 positions for this school year and an additional 120 by the following school year.
The school board has also started planning for the closure or consolidation of two schools by next year.
