Starting Monday, you can head to your favorite Buffalo and Erie County public library branch.

Here's what you need to know:

Library hours may be reduced. It is suggested you call your local library for more information on exact hours.

You are required to wear a face covering, and all libraries are following social distancing protocols.

That means there is limited seating and floor markers to keep people 6 feet apart. Returned materials will be placed in quarantine for a minimum of 72 hours before going back on the shelf.

Protective shields are at customer service stations. You'll also notice hand sanitizer throughout the buildings. Meeting rooms will remain closed for an undetermined period.

The Lake Shore Branch library in Hamburg will remain closed for construction.
