Three people have been charged in connection with the murder of a 31-year-old mother in the town of Tonawanda.
Danielle Cretacci was shot and killed in her home on Ebling Avenue in August 2019 in front of her two children who were also shot. Her children survived.
Ernest Green Jr., 38, Daniel Rodriguez, 37, and Sharee Bailey, 28, are charged with second-degree murder.
Green and Rodriguez are also charged with attempted murder. They're accused of shooting Cretacci's two daughters. Authorities believe the three suspects allegedly broke into her home after learning she recently came into legal settlement money.
"We just try to get justice and hopefully today is the first step on getting justice, this isn't going to be an easy case. This is going to be a tough case, but that's okay," said Erie County District Attorney John Flynn.
Ernest Green was also charged in a separate homicide with a second, separate suspect — Wayne Robbins, 24. Both are charged with first-degree murder and second-degree murder in the homicide of Bethany Malloy and Shaquiel St. John.
That incident took place on Merrimac Avenue in Buffalo in September 2019.
The DA says Bailey knew both Cretacci and Malloy.
