There will be another salute to Western New York's frontline workers this weekend.

It will be another military flyover like the one that took place Tuesday.

During that event, a Boeing KC-135 from the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station and F-35 fighter jets from the Vermont Air National Guard flew over hospitals in Niagara and Erie counties.

On Saturday, May 16, "Operation Thanks From Above" will take place in the skies over Western and Central New York.

A Douglas C-47 known as the "Whiskey 7" and P-51 Mustang will fly in formation above 80 locations to honor and thank essential workers for fighting the pandemic.
