Grab your skates and your hockey sticks. All three Buffalo indoor Ice rinks will officially open for games and practices Monday.
The indoor rinks at Riverside Park, Tacoma Avenue, and Cazenovia Park will reopen under both state and county safety guidelines.
Leagues and organizations will need to communicate with the county health department about contact tracing and quarantines as well as appropriate health screenings for players and coaches before each game or practice.
No out of state travel for participants is permitted and the health department strongly recommends teams do not travel outside of Western New York and the Finger Lakes.
Spectators are limited to two per player for outdoor sports and there is a 50% building capacity limit for indoor sports.
Any positive COVID-19 cases will result in 10-day suspension of league or team using facility.
Mask usage and social distancing will also be required.
