Parents in Buffalo have a new option to keep their kids actively learning this summer.
The "Say Yes Buffalo Virtual Summer Camp" is offering 1,500 slots for Buffalo students this year.
Of course, the camps are virtual this summer because of the coronavirus pandemic. The city says the virtual camps will still be a great way for students to stay fresh on school lessons while keeping active and stimulated.
Students in kindergarten through sixth grade are eligible for camp as long as they're a student in Buffalo's public or charter schools.
The camps are free and families can also get food assistance along with access to laptops and internet hotspots if needed.
Even though camps start Monday, parents can still register students through Friday, July, 24.
Camps run today through august 14th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every weekday.
