As many fans are still wondering what to make of the Bills' decisions during this year's NFL Draft, the team has now added a new wide receiver.
On Monday, the Bills announced they had signed Quintez Cephus to a one-year contract. Cephus comes from Detroit, where he played for the Lions from 2020-2022.
The 6-foot-1, 202-pound wide receiver played in 22 games for the Lions while starting in six of them. He had 37 receptions, 568 receiving yards and four touchdowns during his time there. His best season was in 2020 when he boasted 20 receptions for 349 receiving yards and two touchdowns in 13 games.
Last year, Cephus was one of a group of players suspended by the NFL for violating the league's gambling policy. Officials say they placed bets during the 2022 season.
In the 2020 NFL Draft, Cephus was a fifth-round pick out of Wisconsin. He's originally from Macon, Georgia.
