At The Salty Chefs American restaurant, it’s about simple, fresh and seasonal homemade food. Owners David and Donna Viertel have been sharing their love of food and each other since meeting at the Culinary Institute more than 30 years ago.
The downtown Buffalo restaurant specializes in putting a unique twist on classic American dishes, like their Cobb salad with fresh cranberries, Donna’s homemade French toas,t or the Buffalo Morning burger with marinated mushrooms and a sunny side up egg.
