We know how much the Bills love focusing on what a player brings beyond football. Christian Wilkins is the first Clemson scholarship player to earn their degree in just two-and-a-half years. With a masters in hand, Wilkins capped his time in school by earning the William Campbell trophy, given to the player who combines academic and football success with community leadership better than anyone in the nation.

"I feel ultimately I'm the kind of guy you want in your locker room, you want on your team, you just want on the field with you because I'm someone who's extremely committed just to be the best at my craft and just to impact and serve others," said Wilkins.

Don't get it twisted, Wilkins is an elite player too. He's a two-time captain and national champion. Wilkins’ final three years saw him ascend from third to second then consensus All-American honors. As a senior, he had five-and-a-half sacks and 14 tackles for a loss, mainly playing in the middle of that loaded Clemson D-line.

"I definitely feel I'm best suited as a three-technique. I feel like my skillset allows me to be the best there and most effective there. But I also feel I can play all across the defensive line, all across the defensive front. Even feel like I can drop into zone coverage if I need to, into the flat or five-technique, some line. Whatever is needed of me,” said Wilkins.

If the Bills are going to grab Wilkins it'll have to be at ninth overall, as he's a sure-fire first round pick.

Our next prospect profile looks at maybe the best defensive tackle in the draft: Alabama's Quinnen Williams.
