Search crews have recovered the body of a Horseheads man who disappeared on Seneca Lake in April.
State police divers found the body of Daniel Manganaro, 27, over the weekend in water more than 500 feet deep. His family purchased additional sonar cable so crews could reach Seneca's deepest points.
The Yates County Sheriff said Manganaro was crossing the lake in a canoe with a friend when it capsized.
His friend was rescued the night of the accident.
