After a partial legal victory, organizers of the Woodstock 50th anniversary festival say plans are moving forward.
The show at Watkins Glen was the focus of a recent court battle after financial backer Amplifi Live pulled support. The company cited issues with attendance and the budget.
They also announced the festival was canceled.
The court ruled Amplifi didn't have the right to cancel the event but the judge also ruled the company didn't have to return about $18 million in funding that it took back.
Woodstock officials announced Friday that they've secured a new financial advisor, Oppenheimer and Company. They will help pull money together for the festival.
Organizers say the event is still planned for Watkins Glen on the weekend of August 16th to 18th.
