Gault Toyota in Endicott celebrated local charities by giving back.

Throughout the year, the dealership has donated $5,000 every month to two different nonprofits. Some of the organizations that have benefited attended a special event Wednesday to share a little bit about what they do.

The president of a veterans group that was awarded a check through the campaign earlier this year says the support means so much to the people they serve.

"In communities where there's a strong network, like there is in our community, their rates of PTSD and their ease of reacclimating back in the community is so much easier," said Southern Tier Veterans Support Group President Al Eaton. "So I would say the veterans, knowing there are companies like Gault and others, is as powerful as the money is."

"There is such a great need, and even more of a need than we imagined, so that's what I learned from it," said Gault Toyota Vice President Connie Gault, "so we have to continue this so that we can help others in the community."

The Gaults gave away $60,000 through the campaign this year.
