We're watching two areas in the Atlantic with potential to develop this week.
We're also tracking Tropical Storm Francine.
A disturbance in the central Atlantic is producing disorganized showers and storms as it moves west-northwestward. Conditions will be slightly favorable for development during the next few days, and a tropical depression could form this week.
Another disturbance further east in the eastern Atlantic is moving west-northwestward and producing showers and storms. Conditions should become more favorable later this week as the system interacts with a tropical wave in the central Atlantic, and development chances will become more likely later this week.
