Weak high pressure that's been over the region since Sunday morning will fade from the area tonight. This will allow a weak cold front to enter the state from the west Tuesday. Ahead of the front, light scattered showers will be possible through much of the morning Tuesday. After a potentially soggy morning, drier conditions are expected through a cloudy and mild afternoon. Highs Tuesday will likely peak in the 60s for many.

The cold front pushes through Tuesday followed by an area of high pressure that will be in the area through Wednesday. Skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy Wednesday, and temperatures will be above normal in the mid to upper 60s. A warm front will lift north through the area Wednesday night as the high will slide offshore. The front will lead to a surge in temperatures. Highs will likely reach the 70s Thursday and 80s by Friday.

Wednesday and Friday will likely be dry for many. Thursday we'll entertain the possibility of scattered showers with a low chance for an isolated thunderstorm. Despite rain in the forecast, pollen levels will be moderate to high through the remainder of the week. With that in mind, be sure to wash your hands routinely with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

Given the current COVID-19 threat, it's advised to avoid touching your eyes, nose and other parts of your face. Often times when allergies are triggered, rubbing eyes and other actions are common. So make sure your hands are clean as much as possible and keep the allergy medication close by if you take any.

Temperatures will remain warm through Saturday until a cold front sweeps through. Highs will reach the 60s Saturday as showers develop along the front. Once the front marches by, temperatures will fall. After highs in the 80s Friday and 60s Saturday, it's likely we'll only reach the low to mid 50s by Sunday due to this weekend's cold front.
