On Friday, dozens of Ukrainian civilians were killed in a rocket strike on a train station being used to evacuate people.

Back home in North Carolina, it's not just the Ukrainian people doing everything they can to help.

Marta Brassil is Polish-American and the owner of EUtopia.design.

She's hosting a silent art auction Saturday night at the PS118 Art Gallery, benefitting Ukrainian artists who have fled their country.

All proceeds will go toward the Center of Polish Sculpture in Oronsko, Poland.

"They opened what's called emergency residencies for Ukrainian artists so people can find shelter and given studio place to continue doing their work," Brassil said.
