RALEIGH, N.C. — People are inspiring others to make positive change across the state and that includes in our schools.

Ellis Jordan is one of the many students we're featuring as kids head back to the classroom this month. She is making the transition from elementary school to middle school as a rising sixth grader at The Exploris School.

Jordan likes spending time at the pool and hanging out with her dogs. She shares with us now her experiences learning amid the pandemic and tells us what gives her hope for the future.

Are you a voice for change? We want to hear from you. Tell us what you are doing to help build a better tomorrow.
