NORTH CAROLINA – Two airports in the Tar Heel state will soon see some improvements.

  • Asheville Regional Airport and New Bern Coastal Carolina Regional Airport are getting millions in improvements.
  • Asheville is getting $10 million.
  • New Bern is getting $4.9 million.

This comes after the Secretary of Transportation announced more than $480 million will be granted to 108 airports across the country.

A total of 48 states will see better airport infrastructure, including North Carolina’s Asheville Regional Airport and New Bern Coastal Carolina Regional Airport.  

Asheville will receive $10 million to rehabilitate its terminal and New Bern will receive $4.9 million for improvements to their building.
