WAKE COUNTY, N.C. – A 15-year-old girl is recovering after being hit by a truck Tuesday morning.
According to police, a 15-year-old juvenile female pedestrian was walking across the crosswalk toward Apex High School when she was struck by a 17-year-old female operating a truck.
The 15 year old was transported to the hospital where she is said to be stable and recovering.
The 17 year old was cited on the scene.
