FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Vice President Mike Pence was in the Tar Heel State Wednesday. 

He attended an event in Fayetteville for U.S. House candidate Dan Bishop, after which he visited Fort Bragg to deliver remarks.

The vice president spoke about a few of Fort Bragg's accomplishments over the year. He also discussed how the Commander-in-Chief proposed the largest defense budget in American history of $750 billion.

He then traveled to Greenville, NC for the Keep America Great rally with President Trump before returning Washington.

The Greenville rally starts at 7 p.m. in Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum.
