Last year, there was a rush to get Real IDs.

They're expecting more people will be getting them this year.

While the DMV was empty this Saturday, they're anticipating the new schedule will help people who work on the weekdays.

Another location in Avent Ferry Road Shopping Center in Raleigh will also be open on Saturdays.

This will continue through the peak season, and will end August 24.
