RALEIGH, N.C. -- An NC State football player is under arrest and facing charges for assaulting a woman.

Running back Damontay Rhem, 22, was arrested Friday.

An NC State Athletics Department official says Rhem is suspended from athletic participation as a result.

Rhem is a redshirt senior from Wendell, according to NC State's athletic website gopack.com.
