NASH COUNTY, N.C. -- The man accused of stabbing his wife to death and dumping her body is back in our state.

  • Lynn Keel is charged with murdering his wife.
  • Investigators believe Keel stabbed his wife to death.
  • He's expected to face a judge Tuesday morning.

Lynn Keel is charged with murdering his wife, Diana Keel. He arrived at the Rocky Mount Regional Airport at around 4 p.m. Friday afternoon. Arizona authorities arrested him over the weekend near the Mexican border.

New search warrants reveal officials seized at least 60 guns, several knives, and machetes from the Keel home after Diana's disappearance. Investigators also took computers, hard drives, memory cards, and a tracking device.

Officials also say they found several pieces of mail belonging to Diana, pages from her daughter's diary, and an oxycodone prescription inside the Dodge Ram Lynn was caught in.

Diana's body was found not far from the couple's home days after her daughter reported her missing. Investigators believe Keel stabbed his wife to death.

He's expected to face a judge Tuesday morning.
