CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. – The home of the Fayetteville Woodpeckers officially has a name!
- The Woodpeckers will hit off their first season at SEGRA Stadium in April.
- The $40 million stadium will also have a big LED scoreboard, six luxury suites, four field boxes, and an outdoor party deck.
- SEGRA, being one of the largest bandwidth companies in the world, means fans will have fast connection speeds.

This comes after the team and the City of Fayetteville entered a long-term agreement with the communications company.
SEGRA, being one of the largest bandwidth companies in the world, means fans will have fast connection speeds.
The president says there will be an outfield bar with live music plus a lounge. There will be a kids zone where parents enjoy the game with friends and family.
The $40 million stadium will also have a big LED scoreboard, six luxury suites, four field boxes, and an outdoor party deck.
"We see that potential in Fayetteville. Oh, and we knew that if we put a ballpark here, the city would embrace it, the community would embrace it, and it might improve the city, in addition to welcoming fans to the ballpark," said Mark Zarthar, president of the Fayetteville Woodpeckers.
The stadium will be finished on March 29.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 13 will be held, and opening day is April 18.
