RALEIGH, N.C. -- The NCDOT is postponing the Glenwood redesign project along the beltline.

  • The $231 million project will target traffic issues along 440 near the Crabtree Valley Mall
  • The DOT says they're pushing this back to balance out funding for other projects
  • The Glenwood resign is now pushed back to 2025

The $231 million project will target traffic issues along Interstate 440 near the Crabtree Valley Mall and the intersection where Glenwood meets Blue Ridge and Lead Mine roads.

The DOT says they're pushing this back to balance out funding for other projects like Widening Interstate 440 at wade avenue.

Delay or not, drivers say something must be done to address congestion in the area.

The Glenwood resign is now pushed back to 2025.
