CARRBORO, N.C. -- A standoff situation in Carrboro ends after more than 20 hours.
Police say it started at 7 p.m. Wednesday on Laurel Avenue when they got word of an armed barricaded suspect.
Police evacuated nearby homes and arrested the suspect around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
No other details have been provided about what led to the standoff.
