SANFORD, N.C. -- A man has been arrested after seven people were shot and one man died at a Sanford birthday party on June 24.
- Dominique Williams has been charged with first-degree murder.
- Williams shot seven people outside of a dance hall in Sanford during a Birthday party in June.
- He is at the Lee County Jail with no bond.
Police on Saturday charged Dominique Williams, 20, with first-degree murder in the death of Travis Mclean, 27.
He was arrested on Chasteal Drive in Raleigh and taken t o the Lee County Jail where he is being held without bail.
Authorities say the shooting occurred as the result of a fight at the Sanford Latin Dance Studio on Steele Street.
