PERSON COUNTY, N.C. --- The Person County Sheriff's Office pulled a second body from Hyco Lake on Sunday.        

Authorities were called to the lake last Wednesday after an empty boat was found floating in the middle of the lake.

Late that evening, the body of Jill Caldwell, of Yanceyville, was found.

On Sunday afternoon, another body was pulled from the water and identified as Thomas Smith, of Mebane.

The boating incident is still under investigation.
