DURHAM, N.C. – There’s a sad update about the endangered red wolf pups born earlier this month in Durham.         

A North Carolina Museum of Life and Science spokesperson says one female pup has died.         

The pup was found separated from the other two pups in their exhibit.

According to a new report, there are less than 300 red wolves left in the world.
