ELM CITY, N.C. – Wilson County authorities are investigating after a man died after stepping in front of a freight train in Elm City.
It happened around 8 p.m. Tuesday near Railroad and North streets.
The man's name has not been released yet.
No other details were immediately available.
The crash is under investigation.
