RALEIGH -- The Enloe Magnet High School student accused of bringing a gun on campus is expected in court Friday.

Willie Witherspoon, 16, is charged with felony gun on educational property.

The school sent a letter home to parents saying administrators became aware there might be a reason to search Witherspoon.

During the search, they say a school resource officer found a gun and ammunition in another location.
