JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. – A man is dead after a crash on Interstate 95 in Johnston County.
It happened Wednesday just before 4:10 a.m. near mile marker 101.
Troopers say the collision happened when a car struck a tractor trailer from behind.
A passenger in the car, 64-year-old Dennis Schroeder, of Maryland, died at the scene.
All lanes of northbound lanes of I-95 were closed until 7 a.m.
