CHARLOTTE -- Two-time NBA MVP Steph Curry stopped by his high school and college in the Charlotte area tuesday for two dedication ceremonies.

Charlotte Christian School retired Curry's high school jersey.and Davidson College named section 30 of its arena after the Golden State Warrior.

Curry says Charlotte is a big part of who he is today, and he's thankful for the guidance he got back in High School..

"We're out here celebrating the jersey, retirement on the wall and all that but when it comes to the full package of life i learned a lot here that made me who I am,” said Curry.

Curry is in town with the rest of the Golden State Warriors to play the Charlotte Hornets wednesday night.
