FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – A high school principal has been named Cumberland County’s Principal of the Year.
Doctor Vernon Lowery, the principal of Westover High School, is a 17-year veteran in education.
She now moves on to compete against other award recipients in the state.
After that is completed one principal will be honored as the 2017 Wells Fargo Principal of the Year.
