CARY, N.C. - A man is under arrest after Cary police say he struck and seriously injured two cyclists. 

Officers say 33-year old Christopher Moore is charged with two counts of felony hit-and-run. 

It happened last night on High House Road. 

Officers say four adult cyclists were traveling inbound on High House Road toward Old Apex Road when a maroon SUV traveling in the same direction ran over two of the cyclists.

The two other cyclists were not hurt. 

The injured are identified as Virginia Davis of Cary and Laura Cove of Raleigh. 

Police have not said if drugs or alcohol played a part in this crash.
