NORTH CAROLINA - A Goldsboro woman, accused of not calling police when her mom died and whose remains were later found in a freezer, was arrested in New Hanover County.

56-year-old Marcella Lee was arrested on Bridge Barrier Road in Carolina Beach Thursday.

Police say her mother, Arma Roush, was found dead in a chest freezer in May after Lee sold the freezer to a neighbor.

The medical examiner listed the cause of death as unknown and said there were no signs of foul play.

Lee is charged with concealing and failure to report a death.

She was jailed under a $50,000 bond.
