CHARLOTTE -- A new chapter is about to begin in the story of NFL MVP Cam Newton. This one isn't on the football field -- it's on the small screen.
The last time Newton faced a world audience, it was after the Panthers lost the Super Bowl. His news conference didn't win him many fans.
Months later, his TV show, All in with Cam Newton is about to start airing, and it could help repair his image back to the fun-loving, playful quarterback.
In the TV series, Newton helps kids achieve their dreams.
"He loves to compete, he loves to play, he loves to have fun," said Mike Boykin, CEO of Bespoke Sports & Entertainment. "And I think the TV show is just an extension of that. If you're predisposed to be a Cam fan, you're going to love it. I don't think it's going to flip those who don't like Cam into his corner, unless they have children and the children convince their parents."
'All in with Cam Newton' premiers on Nickelodeon at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 3rd.
