RALEIGH – Raleigh-Durham International made a big announcement Thursday morning.
Delta airlines announced it will offer a daily nonstop flight to Paris starting May 12.
The flight will depart from Paris AT 10:45 a.m. and arrive at RDU at 2 p.m. There will also be a flight that leaves from RDU at 6:15 p.m. and arrive in Paris at 8:35 a.m. the following day.
With the addition of the Paris flight, RDU becomes the only medium sized hub airport to offer two daily non-stop transatlantic flights.
The other nonstop flight is to London.
