ROWAN COUNTY—For the 69th year in a row, thousands traveled to Faith in Rowan County for its Fourth of July parade.

The town is home to less than 1,000 people. But every year, more than 30,000 attend the parade. This year, as they saluted the American flag, some also showed their support for the Confederate flag, after national push against it in the wake of the Charleston shooting.

"Everybody's proud of it,” Lori Bridges said, saying it shows support for the Confederate soldiers.

Some groups also passed out stickers for those at the parade to wear if they support the Confederate flag.
