NCDOT Offering Training to Help Airports Deal With Wildlife

STATESVILLE, N.C. — The first of four training sessions to help airports deal with wildlife will be held Wednesday at Stateville Regional Airport.

The NC Department of Transportation's Division of Aviation is offering the sessions on how to deal with birds and other animals that can damage planes on the ground or cause accidents by flying into engines.

Other sessions will be held this year in Buncombe County, Onslow County and Moore County.
