DURHAM, N.C. - The James Joyce Irish Pub and Restaurant is offering the Bull City an authentic taste of Ireland.

Nestled in the trendy Brightleaf Square district, the downtown Durham watering hole prides itself on the fact that the plates are incredibly large, leaving customers satisfied and with enough left-overs to take home.

Brandon Hunt is the executive chef of James Joyce and incorporates his Grandmother's recipes into some of the top sellers.

One of the fan favorites is the 'bangers and mash' which includes Irish Sausages with Mashed Potatoes and Guinness Beer Gravy. This year, James Joyce added additional items to its brunch menu, including a special version of 'sausage and gravy biscuits' that includes Hunt's secret family recipe.

James Joyce Irish Pub and Restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner.  Brunch is served on the weekend.
