CARRBORO, N.C. – CrossTies Bistro & Beer Garden is taking dining options in a new direction with a fresh menu featuring food that all can enjoy.  In addition to the classic barbeque offerings, CrossTies also offers a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options.

The restaurant opened in 2016 and has been a charming addition to the Carrboro community.

It’s located in the former Carrboro Railways Station, which was once home to the Greensboro-Durham Southern Railway Line.

“We’re excited about this evolution of CrossTies. The smoker is still running and many of the new items on the menu will kiss the fire, but we’re now serving more fresh seafood and American comfort food with our own creative twists,” said CrossTies owner Andrew Moore.

The charm and history of the station remain and passenger cars continue to serve as dining rooms and kitchen space.
