RALEIGH — Craft beer used to be a man’s world, but in 2018 that trends changing. On March 3, women in the NC Craft Beer Industry are being highlighted for their work and contributions during the second annual Biere de Femme Festival in Raleigh.
This year, moving from Shelby to Raleigh, the festival will showcase the incredible talent of some of the top women in the craft beer industry, while offering festival goers the chance to try some local beers.
The festival is a tasty, but educational opportunity to not only learn about the process, but also the changes in the industry, and the ways that women are helping it grow. There will be brewing demonstrations, ingredient showcases and other education opportunities with the proceeds going to support the and empower women through The Pink Boots Society of North Carolina scholarship.
If you would like to attend the Biere de Femme Festival, it takes place March 3, 2018 at the Raleigh Beer Garden. The VIP event cost $75, and takes place from 1 - 6 p.m. General admission is from 2 - 6 p.m. for $45.
