The stalled front begins to lift back to the north over our area today. It could trigger a few afternoon thunderstorms, but any activity should remain below severe limits. Under a mix of sun and clouds, temperatures will rise into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees.
Storms will lose energy once the sun sets and dissipate. Skies will become partly cloudy as lows stay in the mid-70s; isolated fog is possible.
It dries out midweek as sunshine returns. With southwesterly winds, temperatures will climb into the mid-90s tomorrow. More storm chances arrive late week.
