A dynamic storm system with widespread severe weather will move through the Midwest and Deep South Friday.

A weakening line of storms will move through our state on Saturday.

Rain chances for our region will occur in the morning and early afternoon. While a few storms are possible, severe weather looks unlikely.

Before and after the rain moves out, gusty wind will be an issue, and may lead to downed trees and power lines without any sort of thunderstorm threat.

We'll clear out and cool down for the end of the weekend on Sunday.
