At long last, it’s the weekend! Below, you’ll find a quick guide — based on information from the MTA — to the biggest planned service changes on the city’s subways and rails.

Subway service changes

5 trains in the Bronx

Between 9:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 5 trains won't run between Eastchester-Dyre Avenue and East 180th Street in either direction due to track replacement.

Riders can take a free Bx90 shuttle bus for service to all skipped stops.

5 trains will run between East 180th Street and Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College on weekdays and to Bowling Green during evenings and on weekends. They will not run overnight.

A and C trains in Manhattan

Between 11:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, A trains won't run between Inwood-207th Street and 168th Street in either direction. Between 9:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, meanwhile, C trains won't run between 168th Street and 145th Street. 

A trains will run between 168th Street and Ozone Park-Lefferts Boulevard or Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue, while C trains will run between 145th Street and Euclid Avenue. C trains will stop at the lower level at 145th Street.

D trains in Brooklyn

Between 3:45 a.m. Saturday and 10 p.m. Sunday, Coney Island-bound D trains will run on the N train line from 36th Street to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue due to track replacement. 

Riders can take a Manhattan-bound train for service to and from bypassed stations.   

N trains in Brooklyn

Between 3:45 a.m. Saturday and 10 p.m. Monday, Manhattan-bound N trains will run on the D train line from Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue to 36th Street due to structural work.

Riders take a Coney Island-bound train for service to and from bypassed stations. 

1 trains in Manhattan

Between 11:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, uptown 1 trains will run nonstop from 96th Street to 145th Street due to track maintenance.

Riders can take a downtown train for service to and from bypassed stations.

2 trains in Brooklyn

Between 11:45 p.m Friday and noon Saturday, Manhattan-bound 2 trains won't stop at Beverly Road due to station work. Riders can take a Flatbush Avenue-bound train for service to and from that station. 

Between 11:45 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday, meanwhile, Flatbush Avenue-bound 2 won't stop at Beverly Road due to station work. Riders can take a Manhattan-bound train for service to and from that station. 

3 and 4 trains in Brooklyn

Between 9:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, New Lots Avenue-bound 3 trains and Crown Heights/New Lots Avenue-bound 4 local trains will run express from Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center to Crown Heights-Utica Avenue due to track replacement. 

Riders can take a Manhattan-bound local train for service to and from bypassed stations. 

6 trains in the Bronx

Between 9:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, 6 trains will run nonstop from Hunts Point Avenue to 3rd Avenue-138th Street due to structural maintenance.

Riders can take a Pelham Bay Park-bound train for service to and from bypassed stations. 

E and F trains in Queens

Between 11:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, Jamaica Center-bound E trains won't stop at Briarwood, while Jamaica-bound F trains won't stop at Briarwood or Sutphin Boulevard due to electrical work.

Riders can take a Manhattan-bound train for service to and from bypassed stations.
