At long last, it’s the weekend! Below, you’ll find a quick guide — based on information from the MTA — to the biggest planned service changes on the city’s subways and rails.

Subway service changes
4 and 5 trains in Brooklyn and Manhattan
Between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, 4 trains won't run in either direction between Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall and Crown Heights-Utica Avenue or New Lots Avenue due to station work. 5 trains, meanwhile, won't run between Grand Central-42nd Street and Bowling Green in either direction.
4 trains will run locally between Woodlawn and Brooklyn Bridge City Hall, while 5 trains will run every 12 minutes between Eastchester-Dyre Avenue and Grand Central-42nd Street during the day and evening.
6 trains in the Bronx
Between 9:30 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, 6 trains won't run in either direction between Hunts Point Avenue and Third Avenue-138th Street due to track replacement.
Instead, they'll run in two sections: between Hunts Point Avenue and Pelham Bay Park, and between Third Avenue-138th Street and Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall.
Riders can take free shuttle buses for service to all 6 train stops between Hunts Point Avenue and Third Avenue-138th Street.
E trains in Manhattan
Between 9:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, uptown E trains will run on the F line from West Fourth Street-Washington Square to 47th-50th Streets due to signal modernization.
Riders can take A and C trains for service between 14th Street and 50th Street (A trains will run local between the two stops all weekend), and D trains for service to and from Seventh Avenue.
F trains in Brooklyn
Between 3:30 a.m. Saturday and 5 a.m. Monday, F trains won't run between Kings Highway and Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue in either direction due to track replacement.
Riders can take free shuttle buses for service to all F stops between the two stations.
F trains will still run between Jamaica-179th Street and Kings Highway.
Manhattan-bound F trains, meanwhile, will run express between Kings Highway and Jay Street-MetroTech between 9:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday due to signal modernization.
G trains in Brooklyn
Between 9:30 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, G trains won't run in either direction between Bedford-Nostrand Avenues and Church Avenue due to signal modernization.
Riders can take free B93 shuttle buses for service between the two stations, connecting to Jay Street-MetroTech.
F trains will run between Bergen Street and Church Avenue. Riders can also take a Coney Island/Kings Highway-bound train for service to and from local stations.
Q trains in Brooklyn
Between 3:30 a.m. Saturday and 10 p.m. Sunday, Q trains won't run in either direction between Kings Highway and Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue due to track replacement. Q trains will run between 96th Street and Kings Highway every 10 minutes.
Free shuttle buses will make all Q train stops between the two stations.
Riders can take the N train for direct service between Manhattan and Coney Island, or D and N trains for direct service between Downtown Brooklyn and Coney Island.
During the day and evening, Q trains will be running between 96th Street and Kings Highway every 10 minutes.
Franklin Avenue Shuttle in Brooklyn
Between 8:45 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, Franklin Avenue Shuttle trains won't run due to station maintenance.
Riders can take free shuttle buses, which will make all stops between Franklin Avenue and Prospect Park.
1 trains in Manhattan
Between 9:45 p.m Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, downtown 1 trains will run nonstop between 145th Street and 96th Street due to station maintenance.
Riders can take an uptown train for service to and from the bypassed stations.
A and C trains in Brooklyn
Between 9:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, Euclid Avenue-bound C trains and Queens-bound A local trains won't stop at Ralph Avenue and Rockaway Avenue due to structural maintenance.
Riders can take a Manhattan-bound local train for service to and from the two stations.
E, F and R trains in Queens
Between 11:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, Manhattan-bound E, F and R local trains will run nonstop from Forest Hills-71st Avenue to Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue due to accessibility work.
Riders can take a Forest Hills-bound R train, a Jamaica Center-bound E train or a Jamaica-bound F train for service to and from the bypassed stations.
N, Q and R trains in Manhattan
Between 11:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, uptown N, Q and R local trains will run express between Canal Street and 34th Street-Herald Square due to track replacement.
Riders can take a downtown train for service to and from the bypassed stations.
