After Tuesday’s primary, Nancy Vaughan and Justin Outling will advance from the primary election to campaign for mayor of Greensboro.

Voters will go to the polls in July to make the final choices for mayor and city council members.

Four candidates ran in the nonpartisan primary for mayor, including current Mayor Nancy Vaughn.

Greensboro’s municipal elections were moved from last year because of delays getting population data for redistricting from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The final election for Greensboro mayor and city council will be July 26.
