For the second straight week, it’s notable who’s absent from the Buffalo Bills voluntary practices in Orchard Park.

Josh Allen missed organized activities on Tuesday following his wedding over the weekend to actress Hailee Steinfeld.

The QB was here for OTAs last week leading up to the big day.

Coming off Allen’s MVP season, offensive coordinator Joe Brady says it’s all about building from the basics for the quarterback and the high-powered offense as a whole.

"With a guy like Josh, you got the MVP, you’re trying to continue to challenge him in new ways and he wants it all," Brady said. "But every year is a new year. We kind of just start over and he embraces that and kind of rolls with it, so that makes it easy."

Running back James Cook was also absent from practice Tuesday. He wasn’t here last week, either. Of course, it’s voluntary for the players, but Cook has made it known publicly he’s looking for a big money contract extension as he heads into the final year of his current deal.

"I obviously love Jimbo, but it’s just like anyone ... whenever someone’s not here, it’s a great opportunity for the guys that are, and seeing Ray and Ty and Evans and Frank just get those opportunities, everybody kind of benefits from that. But I am excited for whenever Jimbo gets back with us," Brady said.

There is a mandatory minicamp next week, and Cook faces fines if he doesn't return to those.
