AUSTIN, Texas — Austin’s annual free concert series, Blues on the Green, will be returning to Zilker Park this summer. After cancelling the event back in January 2024 and reinstating the concert series, the details for the highly anticipated event have been announced.

This year, the music series is set for Aug. 5 and 6.

The event will feature live music, interactive activities, freebies and a bar, courtesy of H-E-B’s sponsorship.

For over three decades, Blues on the Green is an Austin tradition that has moved from The Arboretum to Zilker Park, with Austin’s growing skyline providing a picturesque setting.

In January 2024, Blues on the Green canceled their concert series due to escalating costs, but because of H-E-B’s increased financial support and Austin City Council’s approval of Resolution 23, the concert series had been reinstated.

The show dates have not been announced yet. ACL Radio said that there would be more info to come soon.
